The Bechdel test asks whether a work of fiction features at least two women who talk to each other about something other than a man. Estella Expects a Lot goes even further. It never mentions any males at all.
Synopsis
Estella is used to getting things her way. She doesn’t want a governess. If she must have one, it will be on her terms.
